Dune Drifter is a wave fighter game (the quintessential game jam game) where the player controls a car and must score points by drifting in loops around enemies.

This game was made for the GMTK 2025 Game Jam in 96 hours using Python and the pygame framework. Expect some jank.

• W/S or UP/DOWN arrows - accelerate and decelerate
• A/D or LEFT/RIGHT arrows - steering
• SPACE - start drifting (this is the handbrake)
• F11 - toggle fullscreen

Tip:

Don't hit the enemies or obstacles. Try making wider drifts by slightly letting go of SPACE or directional arrows.
